Explanation of your spec, glyphs, gems and enchants:
Spec 1 (Max Dps Spec):
This Spec is the cookie cutter Fury spec. The alterations I have made is to take all talent points out of talent Rampage and the shout ability talents (we currently have 5 warriors in our raid including myself, and the two other fury's do the shouts, plus both of them are specced into Rampage). I added the extra points into unbridled wrath for extra rage (sometimes you can run out of rage on boss fights which involve Cleave), I also have added the other extra 2 points to Improved Intercept and by doing this improves my mobility during boss fights which require a lot of moving. I didn't spec extra points into Improve Execute because I find it’s rarely used and if needed it is only used as a free GCD filler in the execute phase. I found Unbridled Wrath and Imp Intercept more helpful since they do more on a global scale. I could have used a point from Unbridled Wrath into Improve execute but personally I think the Unbridled Wraith will save me more rage than 1 point into Improve Execute will, due to that in the last 20% you get around 10 free time slots for execute, which means 10 executes making 20 rage saved and i think an extra point in Unbridled Wrath will get more than that, this spec is merely made due to my current raid group and personal opinions and is no way a perfect spec and I am willing to change due to the make of Proxy’s raid group. This spec I have chosen purely for DPS output since I find the extra rage from Unbridled Wrath helps prevent rage starving, and Improved Intercept helps improve overall mobility, these talents can be substituted if mandated by a raid leader for talents such as booming voice, commanding presence, rampage, or imp demo shout.
By the time you read this new patch might have hit changing my talents. In case of this scenario i took a SS.


Spec 2 (Heroic LK spec)
This second spec is a spec I have made for the Heroic LK encounter, it’s basically still your main cookie cutter but with a few major alterations. Like a lot of fury warriors who are progressing/killing HM LK on a weekly scale, I have found it beneficial to create a second spec specifically for the fight. In this build I have taken away Heroic Fury, Improved Intercept since i don't find myself intercepting often in the fight. I have also obviously taken out Rampage and all Shout Ability talents due to my current raid set up. With the 4 extra points left over from taking away those talents from the base fury spec, i put them into Enrage 4/5 which gives me a 30% chance to get a 8% damage increase if damage is dealt to me (not specified in the mouse over, but it will not proc on environmental damage) I find it a useful talent in HM LK only because there is a lot of damage being chucked around in that fight, it’s also a useful talent on Marrowgar thanks to Bone-storm and Bonespike, but honestly it’s not worth making a spec for him . TLDR: I have chosen this spec purely for Heroic LK due to the extra DPS from the constant Enrage procs, once again I will happily change points around if the raid leader chooses it to be so.

Spec Overview
I have decided to go Fury because I find it the most fun and viable spec to play in. It is not my ideal warrior spec to be in terms of enjoyment but I hate tanking and although arms is considerably more fun that Fury it is nowhere nearly as good performance wise. With my first spec my role in a raid is to hold maximum DPS possible while of course, not dying and staying aware of the situation/s going on around me. With my second spec my role is to provide the maximum of DPS, while slowing Valkyries on LK.


Gyphs
Major
Glyph of Whirlwind: I use this Glyph because it takes two seconds off Whirlwind which is currently a warrior’s hardest hitting ability. The damage you gain from this glyph is a 20% increase for Whirlwind making it an obvious choice for a fury warrior.

Glyph of Heroic Strike: I use this Glyph because it gives you 10 rage every time you crit with Heroic Strike, which is an ability you will be using ALOT of the time. At a rage cost of 12, when you crit with your Heroic Strike you basically get that Heroic Strike for 2 rage. In a 25 man raid, fully buffed I will have AROUND 65 to 80% crit which means 65 to 85% of the time i will be getting Heroic Strikes for 2 rage! Basically this is a massive rage saver.

Glyph of Cleaving: To be honest this is probably my most useless glyph, with Glyph of Cleaving, my Cleave will now hit 4 targets ( my target and his 3 closest Ally’s which are in a 180 degree radius of me). This glyph is mainly only useful on trash, there are acceptations (e.g., Marrowgar 25 when bone-spikes are up, when i cleave a bone spike it will attack the other 2 (if nearby) and Marrowgar, (instead of just the other 2) but most bosses usually don't have 4 mobs stacked up close enough for a cleave to be effective, at least in ICC. I chose this Glyph because comparing it to other glyphs which are available; it is the most useful even though its uses are few and far between.


Minor
Glyph of Bloodrage: I chose this glyph since it makes my Bloodrage spell take no health away. Although it is basically useless it makes things a little easier on the healers and let’s face it, for fury warriors there are not very many amazingly helpful minor glyphs and at least this one could save my life

Glyph of Charge: This Glyph is not immensely useful, but it helps to get an early charge on some bosses.

Glyph of Battle: I only really use this glyph in 5 mans to make my battle shout in 5 man’s longer, there is no more useful raiding minor glyphs.

Gemming: Currently i am gemming mainly for Armour Penetration, now that I am capped at 96% armour penetration I have switched and changed some gems to either strength or crit/strength, depending on whether the socket is yellow or red. If blue I will just put 20 strength. I also have a few 20 expertise gems, due to replacing my Saurfang 10HM Axe for Heroic Cryptmaker and losing a lot of expertise, it still isn’t quite capped but I find 21-21 works well.
Enchants: For Enchants I have got mostly the cookie cutter ones which are aimed mainly at Strength or Attack Power, I Have 23 haste on my Cloak instead of 22 agility because although haste is not considered one of the main stats to go towards neither is agility and I find that the 23 haste gives me more DPS mathematically. I would go deeper into enchants if it was necessary, but honestly I don’t think it is, enchants are pretty straight forward subject.
What makes you an exceptional player?
What makes me an exceptional player is experience and self belief, now when I say experience I don’t mean only in WoW. Throughout my life I have been involved in a lot of competitive team sports, which have made my attitude and understanding of working in a team a lot higher than they may have been otherwise. Since I a child I have also always had a love for strategic thinking and bettering myself, whenever a problem arises with myself or with my team I will always better myself and overcome the challenge.I am very persistent in all aspects of the word when I set out to a task it is always completed. No matter the goal i make i will always do my best to for fill it even if it is on the verge of impossible and i will never stop believing that i can achieve no matter the circumstance.I always try my hardest no matter if I am playing with the worst of players or the best.

Why did you leave your last guild or why are you leaving your current guild?
I am leaving Primal because the progression since my merge/absorption into them has taken a downwards spiral; I planned to keep casually raiding with them for WOTLK but the attitude of some players and raiders seems to effect progression (eg: not attending monday raids with no given reason) and alot of the members seem unable/unwilling to put effort into downing a new boss and are content with doing the same farm content weekly.

Why do you want to join Proxy?
I want to join Proxy, because I want to be in a guild that will experience Cataclysm on a competitive scale from start to end, I believe Proxy is the guild for this. My main aim in my application to Proxy is to progress through raids at a level where content is taken seriously and where I am not carrying players, nor being carried via players.
How did you hear about us?
I heard about you when someone in my guild told me Noctis Erus and Cross merged under the name Proxy.

Why should we accept you into Proxy?
I think I am a capable player for Proxy because I believe I can be a valuable contributor to your guild in the raid content and in the community. When I commit to a task I go all out and when I look at your guild I think it is something I would love to invest my time and effort in. I enjoy progressing through content and learning new fights I don’t get frustrated if a night is spent wiping on a new boss rather than farming other things (well, maybe if we’re going backwards)and I don’t care about loot in a way that it will affect my attitude, of course I love to look badass though.. I'm a very self-sufficient player and don't like to take things I haven't worked for (e.g. Guild repair money, Guild materials, or carrying through something I could not achieve on my own). In a raid I will rarely AFK, and if i need to it will be because of something important, not just I don't feel like contributing for trash, I will also make every raid (unless there are serious real life issues which are not just social events or something- in which case I will inform the guild as quickly as possible), and be on at least three hour early and be able to stay until whenever. I take criticism to mind, so if someone tells me I am doing something wrong I will investigate how to improve it, and improve it. I learn fights very quickly, usually after my first to third attempt and in the case of me making a mistake; I will try my hardest to make sure I do not repeat that mistake. If I am to fail on a fight, I really don't like it, this is because i hate letting people down and feel guilty if I do. Before new content is released I always make sure to read up boss ability's, watch strategy videos and if possible play the PTR/Beta for the new content. I am not easily offended and if abused in any way/shape/type of form will not react inappropriately. If I am given an additional duty in a raid apart from just pulling my weight (e.g. Sunder Armour since no Warrior tank, Kite a mob instead of DPS’ing a boss or anything that is not what the other raiders are doing I will take this task in and go all out to perform it perfectly. I am very loyal to anything that proves itself too me, if I make a decision to stay with something I will stay with it until the very end but on the same note if I make a decision that something is not worth my loyalty, i will leave it as quickly as possible (I am not one to change my mind on issues like that either, I won’t decide to stay then leave its everything or nothing to me). I set myself very high goals, and am never content with what I achieve and am always trying to improve myself no matter how much I achieve.

Currently i am attending year 12 at a top school in Melbourne, Although i take my raiding very seriously i have exams coming up which will decide the future of my real life which undeniably is more important and i need allot of time for study. This is why i am not applying for WOTLK. My school life finishes on November the 3rd which is well and truly long enough before the Cataclysm release date to prepare for Cataclysm etc. After that i have 2 years before i will enter Uni and when in Uni i will most likely have a much more flexible schedule than now and not have attendance problems then either. I believe i could be a great investment for your guild from Cataclysm and beyond and will keep contributing and staying loyal to the guild through thick and thin.

Grandil and Roidzz --- Currently we are the 2 dps warriors in the raid, what can you offer the guild over us so that you can have our raid spots?

Hi just looking at your armory (its pretty broken atm i think so call me out if im wrong), few things i would change, firstly your a fair amount over the exp cap, you could drop some of that by getting T10 gloves and picking up the crafted legs, also, whats your reasoning for dark matter over the war token? one last thing, what are you reforging? armory doesnt show it yet. gl

the expertise issue is an Armory issue (it refuses to update my weapons), my character is currently equipped with x2 Hcryptmakers and an overall 26-26 expertise not 33-33 lol , The Dark Matter>War Token was because before 4.0.1 the War Token at least in my opinion was a pretty ordinary trinket for warrior DPS due to haste which was allot less useful before this current patch was released. With reforging i am reforging Haste into Hit since the hit cap rating has gone up to 26% i think it is, and hit is allot more helpful with rage generation than haste is.

Well Roidzz considering i have never played with you, nor Grandil i cannot say what i can offer to the raid over you. What i can offer to your raids is a reliable member who knows his class, trys his hardest on all content no matter what it is, does not get frustrated due to multiple wipes, will always do his best to never ever let the guild down and will perform on par or greater than your other players. If i where to be accepted i would attend every raid even if on standby, and perform to the maximum of my ability.No matter how good i am/get i wont stop bettering myself even if i where to become the top performer in your guild, because as far as i'm concerned there is always room for improvement and due to that i shall always strive to fill that room. Another thing i can offer to your guild is knowledge prior content release, personally i enjoy playing PTRs and Betas of all the games i'm interested in, and in WoWs case i will generally know a boss fight before it is released, and also know how to gear my charecter etc, before the patch/expansion is released. I can also offer your guild a friendly active member to add to your community, who is always willing to give others a hand and is always in a good mood.


I personally pride myself in believing im a good warrior, but i cannot belittle Grandil's or yourselves ability in raids due to the fact i have not/ do not remember playing with either of you in my entire experience in this game. I am sorry i could not answer your question correctly, but i think if i did it would have been an arrogant egotistic answer and those are not values which i wish to convey to anybody.

Look you seem like a decent player and we'd love to have you on board, but sadly there probably isn't a spot for a 4th permanent warrior.

I do however strongly believe in recruiting a player, not his class... so are there any healing alts that you don't mind playing over your warrior? One that you're as confident at playing as your main?

Obviously you won't have as much practice and not many people like the idea of playing alts in main raids but because of the way our guild is structured, this seems to work out better as we can continue to bring in fresh blood and keep the environment competitive as well as have a bigger pool of characters / talented players that can play any class to choose from for our raids.

Ok at the moment the healing classes i have are:
Druid level 77- On a different account and server though, have a little raid experience on him at level 70 (healed upto Hyjal).
Paladin- Level 40, honestly have no experience on him at all but am happy to level.
Shaman level 50- No experience apart from leveling.
Priest- I have a 73 priest i have leveled and raided on at 70 only in kara, i also might be able to get hands on an 80 priest because my mate is quiting.

i think a simple no would've have sufficed
