10man vs 25man

10/25-Man Shared Realm Firsts
Blizzard added the Realm First! feats of strength to the game in the latest Cataclysm beta build.
They are available to both 10 and 25 player raids, whoever does it first.

Sure we all saw this coming but here it is...

Everyones gonna end up doing 10mans imo.
It's easier to gear 10 players then 25 and go for realm firsts.
It's easier to have 10 people not fuckup then it is to have 25.
AE shit like defile is easier to dodge (even if they scale it ridiculously, you just have so much more room).

Pretty much, unless they wayyyy overtune 10man, all the realm firsts will come from there imo.

Wouldn't be surprised if some guilds even gamble on which week the realm firsts will drop (if it isn't the first) and do 25mans until then, giving all the loot to a select 10 people then rolling over 10man with 10 well geared peeps.

yea the first week would prob just the 10 nerdiest people doing a run, and later in the week the lesser nerds and by the 2nd raiding week the non asians will catch up to us and there'll be enough for 25, if thats the plan

well yeah definatly the initial tier to come with cata will be 10man for us (and everyone). Probs even the week after than since I highly doubt it will be cleared, or it will just be phased in 1 boss per week or some shit.

If it is phased over like a few weeks then I guess we could jew loot to a select group and go for 10man when the end boss is released but the other 15 ppl would rage aye.

you guys do know...that the server firsts are on heroic mode. and lately blizz has been doing tiers of releases (icc wings, toc boss a week) and also heroic mode wont be unlocked till you down the normal version. and apparently blizz will overtune the 10mans to be equal to 25man. + in 25man what blizz said was that each person will get more loot than in 10man. as in 10man could drop 1 pieces a boss where as 25man can drop up to 6 (just a random number so you understand what i mean)

well it will be more like 10m = 2 25m = 6
