LK attempts 29th

was rly bored inbetween attempts so.. yea, not sure how much of it is even helpful + I got lazy towards the end. I had a bunch of wol snippets on each attempt but took em out to make this shorter

1 - Hax dies 10~ seconds into first transition to casted shambling enrage.

2 - Kazeone defiles the raid. Aurn dies early aswell.

3 - Aurn dies, Fozby+Chrondor die(infest), tanks die.

4 - Aurn dies, and huge defile.

5 - Plague jumps into melee(shambling and melee group too close), goes to Aurn, KO's Aurn(no dispel?)

6 - Dced, nfi

17[15] - 9 Infest deaths going into p2 from transitions(shields broke/fell off/etc)

18[16] - DEFAIL(valk+defile+not fast enough)

19[17] - Trakor plague, Trakor brez into infest, Alistia raging spirit, Megarambo raging spirit -> Hax dies

20[18] - Hax dies to (1st or 2nd) shambling enrage(no stun/dispel)

tldr: 6 wipes in p1, 3 wipes to defile alone(2 were dropped in the raid), 3 wipes to defile + tank dying at the same time so ~6 defile wipes aswell

13 elzicho didnt prerun. got defile and then blinked onto about 6 of us that did prerun.

Dc's and defile were mainly our problems tonight. As well as a few individual fuckups.

Picto?!? Valk DPS?!? beating the tanks by 0.01%. Unless he got picked by every valk every attempt again we have a problem. >.<

I got picked up almost every valk phase yesterday, i find it hard to believe I still beat picto... Gota find out what he's doin wrong, unless he's tunneling by holding out those CP for the backup stun

well is there any way to find out what he is attacking when the valks are out, probs tunneling LK yeah.

he doesn't need to hold out for shit, will find out within 2 seconds if he needs to stun a target which he should be on, as soon as he's sure the guy he'd backing up isn't valked go hard. which should be no dps loss since he needs 5 combo points anyway, and if the shit hits the fan vanish cheap shot.

68 sinister strikes, 6 killing spree, 71 deadly poison ticks, 97 instant poison(calculate approx how many white swings to proc 97 instant poisons), 4 eviscerates, 25 blade flurry, no fan of knifes, etc.

everything above includes 10x HM attempts, 3x NM attempts and 1x NM kill so it would be more accurate if someone repeated this for the other nights without normalmode attempts skewing it

This is probably how it goes

1. Valks spawn (1st)
2. Blade Flurry
3. Killing Spree
4. Get SnD back up
5. No time for finisher
6. Valks done

Thats pretty standard but the thing is now his AR is either down cause he popped it at the start or during transition.
So:

7. Valks spawn (2nd)
8. Build CP
9. Finisher
10. Valks done

In that time he has no cleave cause its down since he blew both at once. I've talked to him about separating his CD's but I think he just does it due to second nature. It really is huge damage and our valks still get to the edge sometimes and its close.

That and the people counting his sinister strikes or mentioning it, it's pretty irrelevant. Sinister Strike glyph gives your SS a chance to proc 2 CP. If you get good RNG, it can proc all the time and you're sweet. If it hardly procs then you need to SS more. Ruthlessness also pretty much means he has a high chance to get a CP "refunded" or put back onto his target after a finisher. So he's sometimes starting on his target after a finisher with 1 CP. x2 SS Glyph procs means you're @ 5CP already. Personally on Valks I'd do a finisher @ 4 if it was close to 50%.

He's also not ArP capped and he only got pretty close recently cause of DBW. He's still only @ 87%.

TaJ can vary a lot in damage depending if his OH is the one thats proccing.

So yeah I mean I'm not defending him completely but if you're just looking for something like "lets see how many sinister strikes he does", that's a pretty stupid thing to be looking for.

I do think he should be doing more if he's only just beating tanks. Just not sure how he can do it cause I haven't done LK25 on my rogue in such a long time. But I can look into it. The only thing I can tell him which I mentioned before is to separate those cooldowns and try and even out his damage across valk waves as opposed to dropping them all on one wave.

FoK might not be a good option to go for too btw. It could keep up if he popped AR + autoattacked a valk + FoK'd. He would be getting a lot of energy back if he gets lucky with the talent procs. He'd be already getting a lot from AR so the damage could keep up. But yeah, FoKing would just inflate his DPS but he wouldnt actually be doing that much dmg tbh cause it's only 4 targets.

You see high damage from FoK only when the fight is long enough for you to keep the 5 stack of DP going (rogues could cheese out Kologarn and just spam FoK the whole time since the arms grow back and have lots of HP anyway and when they explode, theres lots of adds) or if theres lots of targets with lots of small DP stacks running (whelp packs before Sindragosa).

Another thing u need to look at before you ask about others is the buffs ur giving kald u know that night after trakor left I was replenishment I know wig 2 rets you don't need to mind blast but if there's only one then u need to cuz I only gave out 10 and ther people were having mana issues cuz no one else was giving replenishment
