Here is a link of my boomy dps to a single target without using any aoes.

Feel free to add any information that will help you with your application.

Heroic ICC25, go into detail about what you have killed, any important or specific roles you took during those kills: 9/12 EXCEPT FOR PP, SINDA AND LK. My role is to pull resonable dps, brez players and also provide raid buffs.

Past experience and guilds you completed it with (Include class played and Vanilla/BC experience if you can):
I was with Catalyst all the time when I was with frostmourne.
Spec, Gearing and Rotation: 58/0/12 gs: 6225
What is your rotation and how do you use your spec/rotation to maximise your potential during a normal fight (include any movement tricks you apply):
Rotation: cast Wrath until Lunar procs and cast Starfire until Solar procs, cast one DoT as each Eclipse ends.

It's important to manage my DoT's well during high-movement situations. If at all possible,I always plan my casting so that I cast DoT's (or other instants) while moving, and nukes while standing still. This requires me to be highly aware of both my spell rotation and my surroundings, so I can anticipate movement. It's always worth delaying a DoT by a few seconds to cast it while moving, making use of time that would otherwise be wasted. This also holds true for other instants: Force of Nature, Starfall.

During an AoE fight:

Aside from aforementioned Starfall usage, I will basically AoE by chaining Hurricane. One little nuance is that I can start Hurricanes under the effect of Nature's Grace (procced by Starfall, for example), for significantly higher AoE DPS. Typhoon adds little damage but is another way of "forcing" Nature's Grace With Idol of Lunar Fury, keeping one Moonfire ticking will slightly improve the DPS of Hurricane

Starfall -> Hurricane x2 (both with NG from Starfall) -> Glyphed Typhoon -> Hurricane (with NG) -> Moonfire (hoping to proc NG) -> Hurricane.

A Fight where you need to avoid doing AoE:

I will single target and follow my RL's order.

What Stats do you look for in your gear? what gems do you use? Why?

SP> HASTE> Crit. I USE 12sp + 10 hit gem to cap my hit, 39 sp jc gem , 23 sp gems, some 12sp + 10 sprit gems to active socket bonus.

are you applying as a resto or boomkin?

i dont think your resto is good enough. Please logout in boomkin gear.

Also why is haste better than crit for a boomkin?

In your rotation dps you put up IS but you dont seem to use that glyph, how come?

He obviously uses the far superior ESDF keybinds over the typical WASD ones.

All the pros use ESDF as it allows for far more close use key assignments in both directions over expanding to your typical 6tgv direction on the right at a stretch and being limited by keys.

yea and I've bound HS to middle mouse click and cleave to mouse wheel down Razz but yeah it's all about future proofing... and I used to tank and that has quite a few keybinds Razz compared to fury!

Oh and it's all about future proofing!

In your rotation dps you put up IS but you dont seem to use that glyph, how come?

1. I was doing MC last night and had to put my healing gears. Sry abt that.

2. [Glyph of Insect Swarm] is now much weaker than it used to be (because we have three other good Glyphs). Against a single target, and only if you're not using the 2T9 set bonus, the potential gain is less than a percent (and possibly zero based on your gear) if you replace [Glyph of Moonfire] and keep IS up full-time. This is generally not worthwhile, since it removes the 3% miss debuff from IS, which is a nearly unique raid debuff (Hunters can provide it, but at a large DPS cost). I'd recommend ignoring Glyph of IS at this point.

[Glyph of Focus] will be worth swapping in anytime you regularly get to use Starfall on multiple targets during an encounter, and range is not an issue. (I may use this glyph depands on the fights)

3. Starfire always feels the full effect of haste. No plausible amount of haste brings it near a 1s cast time.

Instants feel the full effect of haste until the softcap, where they become fixed at 1s and feel zero effect from haste.

Wrath behaves mostly like an instant (since it's typically GCD-limited). But due to variable latency and Wrath's transition from cast-like to instant-like behavior at the softcap, there's a bit of a fuzzy zone where haste decays to 0 in value. The theorycraft here treats it identically to an instant.
